My Mom's church had a cute halloween party they have done for the past couple of years called "Trunk or Treat" where the people decorate the back of their trunks and the kids just go trunk to trunk and get their candy...it's cute. My son is the official hayride/tractor driver each year and it is so much fun for the kids (and the adults). Olivia was dressed as an Indian and my son was a cowboy...how cute is that.
A few pics of the party with her brother.

Well, Olivia started her first year of pre-K. It's early intervention pre-school. She LOVED riding the bus (which picks her up in front of the house) for the first couple of days, but things changed on Friday and she did NOT want to go on the bus OR to school. Today was a REALLY tough morning because she held on to me for dear life and BALLED her eyes out when the bus came this morning. I kept on packing her backpack this morning and she kept UNpacking! So, I decided that I will try to drive her to school so she can adjust a little better and then have her ride the bus home since she is ok coming home on the bus. I even gave her her baby "Lily" to take with her on the bus this morning, but that didn't work either. She left for school and I just came in the house and cried!
Tomorrow is back-to-school night so I am anxious to talk with her teacher to see how she is adjusting in class. She did tell me that she cried the first two days for about 30 minutes and then she was ok. I sure hope she adjusts soon because this is SO emotionally hard! I know alot of kids go through it.
I'm leaving you with a few cute pics of her home from school.

I am so behind on blogging. Olivia celebrated her 3rd birthday with her brother Michael who turned 22 and her Aunt Kimmie who turned....25 (she looks like she could be anyway). I will post some pics below.
Olivia aged out on her early intervention and now will be going to "early intervention pre-school." She is SO excited! So am I to have an extra 3 hours to myself in the morning. Her speech is definitely coming along and she will be receiving speech therapy while in school...which is GREAT! She is a happy and very ACTIVE little girl. She keeps us all on our toes!
I can't believe my son will be starting his Master's at Monmouth University this year and Olivia will be starting pre-school...on the same day....oh my. Michael did so well last year...made the Dean's list all semesters. I am SO proud of him! We had to push him a little to go for his Master's though and I am so glad he gave in!
We are taking Olivia to Disney on the 29th of this month for a couple of days. I can't WAIT to see her reaction to everything. She may still be a little young yet to really appreciate it...but I will love it...ha-ha!
enjoy the pics!

First off, I would like to congratulate my son Michael for getting inducted into the National Honor Society at Monmouth University! He is graduating this year and we are hoping he continues on one more year for his Masters (fingers crossed). He has done AWESOME throughout his college years. He majored in History/Education and has made the Deans list in Honors School most of the time. They had a real nice celebration for the inductees. Congratulations Michael...we are all SO proud of you!
Also, I had everyone down my house for mother's day. My brother-in-law brought tons of DELICIOUS seafood AND he did ALL of the cooking for my mother, sister and I. I posted a picture of him and my sister having fun with the HUGE crab legs!
Olivia is doing so good and will be turning 3 in July. She is going to go to pre-school in September. Doctors say she is growing so well. She is 25 percentile both height and weight. My family just loves to spoil her and she LOVES every minute of it!
